SchoolsImplementation
ImplementationIntroduced department by department, not all at once.
Maxwell is designed to fit an existing Physics department rather than replace how it works. Implementation starts with the material teachers already use and the routines they already run.
Phases
A practical introduction
1. Classes and access
Classrooms are set up and students join their teacher's class.
2. Existing material
Teachers import worksheets they already use, or build new material in Maxwell.
3. First assignments
A small number of assignments establish the assessment routine.
4. Marking and moderation
Teachers use Maxwell-assisted marking and moderate before release.
5. Progress follow-up
Patterns across a class inform teaching and intervention.
6. Parent reporting
Teacher-reviewed progress reports go to families when the department is ready.
Oversight
What a department keeps control of
- Which material is used with students
- Whether Maxwell-prepared marking is accepted or amended
- When feedback is released
- When parent progress reports are shared
