Getting started

A staged start, with support.

A Maxwell pilot begins small, with one department and a clear set of classes, so teachers can judge the value before anything is scaled.

How a pilot runs

Four practical steps

Conversation

We discuss the department, the specifications taught and what a useful pilot would look like.

Setup

Classrooms are created and students are enrolled through controlled join codes.

First resources

Teachers bring in or build their first Physics resources and review them before assigning.

Review

The department reviews how it went and decides whether to widen the pilot.

Agreements

School-specific terms

School and multi-academy trust arrangements are agreed separately in writing, including data processing terms, and take precedence over the general website terms of use for those organisations.

Support

A named point of contact

Pilot schools have a direct route to us during the pilot, so questions about setup, resources or reporting are answered quickly.
